We are happy to announce that the patch notes for the Aegis release have been released and are available here (http://community.eveonline.com/news/patch-notes/patch-notes-for-aegis).
Aegis will be deployed on Tuesday, July 7th, 2015, alongside Warlords 1.2 for DUST 514 during an early downtime that is scheduled to start at 10:00 UTC. Downtime will run for a total of 60 minutes through until 11:00 UTC.
Aegis will see the arrival of a whole host of new features including the new "Hecate (http://images.contentful.com/kvd74o0q2fjg/yT20GEcyKO64YOaESImuE/c14dfe0b3fdcf81e85dcb170defec22d/gallente_tact_destroyer_ready.jpg)" class Gallente tactical destroyer, a number of balancing changes incuding Battleship changes and Ishtar balancing (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=431058), as well as missile changes and new missile modules (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=430601). In addition to this, Aegis will release improved overview and in-space icons (http://images.contentful.com/kvd74o0q2fjg/2aNo6BkceEqIA8kk6CcGss/122813e0ba08d4c5235cd7e9cb454f50/NewOverviewBrackets_Legend2.png), more SKINs, a new Cerberus hull (http://images.contentful.com/kvd74o0q2fjg/4gu1Wxk1aMwgamOyAs2uYq/3f858c378b6a300b157a40c0d58f9498/CaracalT2CerberusRedesign_1920X1080-2.jpg) and more.
